piCture pOlish Collaboration Shades: Never Nude, Cyan, Honeymoon, Paris

Recently piCture pOlish released 7 more collaboration shades, 4 of them joined my stash. I purchased Never Nude and Cyan, and the other 2 were gifted by my awesome friends for my birthday later this month. I love every single one of them, some more than others.

I used piCture pOlish Gloss on Top! top coat for all the swatches here.

Never Nude is a collaboration with Meghan from Will Paint Nails for Food. For me, it is quite unique among all the other collaboration shades, you can read about the inspiration behind it here. The formula is a tad on the thick side, but still easy to work with. My swatches here are with 3 coats, there a re a little unevenness on some nails but it's probably due to my application. It wasn't visible at all in person, I noticed it while editing the pics. I'm really loving the glass flecks and soft colours of the glitter used in this polish.

Paris is a collaboration shade with Clementine from The Quiche Girl. Her inspiration is the lovely city she's living in, you can read all about it here. I'm not usually a fan of coral, but I just can't resist this pink coral once I put it on! I haven't had a chance to see this under the sunlight, but even so the sparkles already amazed me. Perfect formula and coverage in just 2 coats.

Cyan is a collaboration shade with Marta from Chit Chat Nails. Read about all her inspiration for this beautiful polish here. This is another shade that I fell in love with, but it was so hard to capture. In person I'm seeing it as a more turquoise shade, but the pics were showing it way too blue. I corrected the colour as close as possible. The holographic sparkles are not as intense as Paris, but they're definitely there. I used 3 easy coats for this, and it dries super shiny!

Honeymoon is a collaboration shade with Victoria from Manicurator. Read what inspired her in creating this shade on her blog post here. If you're wondering if this is too close with the other green shades PP already released, like Siren Song and Tail Feather, I can tell you it's not. This is the only one out of all 4 that kept flooding my cuticles, not too bad, I can totally avoid it by being careful during application. I used 3 coats for my swatches here.

So there you go! Which one(s) are your must have from the new release? I think I'm going to need Lakodom after seeing Copycat Claw's gorgeous swatches on instagram!
These were purchased from Nail Polish Canada. You can also get them directly from piCture pOlish and their network all around the world.

  1. Oh man, I need the last three soooo bad! Gorgeous swatches! I love the inspiration behind the first one (big AD fan) but I'm not a fan of the color. I think it'd be prettier without the colored glitter, it doesn't fit to me.
