Christmas Gradient

Hi guys!!

I have the first snow this year today! Only a little bit, but enough to get me excited and stuck my head out the window *grins*. It made me want to do some holiday themed mani. But today it's just a simple one. A red and green gradient, the official christmas colors!

The red here is OPI Under The Mistletoe and the green is CbL Behead The Drama Queen. Both a very shimmery color. I added INM Northern Lights, cause I just can't resist not to do that to ALL my gradients, lol! I finished off the gradients with Glisten & Glow HK Girl top coat. My accent nail is OPI It's Frosty Outside.

I will be back with more holiday themed mani!  Hope you liked this one :)

  1. This is a great design - love the diagonal gradient look. I'm curious about the green though - it reads more blue on my screen. Is that just me, or the polish, or the camera?

    1. It's definitely my camera! Poor old thing.. In person, it's really a deep green, I have no idea why it picked up the green as cyan *sigh*

  2. This is so cute!

I'm a new follower :) I found you on Beginning Blogger's Bootcamp links from Will Paint Nails for Foods blog!
The only critique I have would be to have one side bar on your blog to keep things neat and easy to read. I find when there are too many things all over a blog, I lose focus. Otherwise, your content and photos are amazing! :)

  3. I love your nails! :) You have such great long nail beds, I'm so jealous. I came here from Will Paint Nails for Food from the feedback form. I think your photos are great, and very clear, and I like your writing style. The only two feedbacks that I have is that your blog is really wide, so I have to scroll left/right quite a bit; also perhaps just be aware of doing a little bit more clean-up around your nails? It's not that they are awful by any means! Just stray glitters can be a little distracting to the nail art on the whole. Does that make sense?

    1. Hi Jessica! Thank you so much for your feedback! I'm glad you mentioned about my page width, something I never thought of before since it shows up a normal size on my screen, no left/right scrolling for me. I will definitely keep that in mind when I redo my layout :)
I get what you mean! Lol! Sometimes those little things are just something I couldn't/didn't see in person and noticed it when I edit my photos, and I was like 'damnit!' But I will surely try to do my clean up better!

    2. Oh, I have so done that before with photos - like "Dangit, why didn't I notice that?!" LOL. :)

  4. Hi! I came from the blogger's bootcamp from Will Paint Nails for Food. I really like the layout of your blog, your nail designs, and how all the important things (at least to me) are right at the top like how to follow you, giveaways, and popular posts. My only comment would be your blog title at the top being a bit oversized (for my taste of course). I would just make it a little bit smaller but don't change the colors, it's adorable :)

    1. Hi Erin! Thank you for your feedback! FINALLY someone mention about my supersize banner!! Lol! I had doubt about it myself, but thought I'd leave it like that until someone says something about it :p I will add that to my list! :)

  5. Hi Novi! I love your nails! They remind me of galaxy nails, which are my favorite! :) I came by way of the blogger's boot camp from Will Paint Nails For Food. I only have a few suggestions.. make your header smaller and add a search option at the top :) Also, you may want to disable the CAPTCHA. I know a lot of people are turned off by it and won't comment. Otherwise, I think your blog looks great!

    3. Lol, I probably shouldn't call it a makeover, more like adjustment here and there. I'm not a web savvy at all!

  6. Hi there! I'm also visiting from WPNFF. I really like your nails, they look really healthy and have a perfect length. Photos are good and clear. I like that you show a few different angles so I really get a good view of the design. I personally don't like your watermark too much, it is a little to colourful if that makes sense. I see that it matches your header which of course is a nice touch but maybe you could tone down the colours a lil for the watermark? It distracts a little from the nail design.
I read blogs on my laptop which has a 1366*768 resolution. When opening your blog I can barely see content apart from your header, maybe it could be reduced in size somewhat? Also the blog is a little too wide for my screen.

  7. Love, love, love this mani! I was thinking it was blue and red until I red the comments as well, but it's gorgeous.

Sadly I haven't kept up with the Blogger's Bootcamp, but in reading the feedback, I am so glad that you turned off the captchas. They drove me crazy every time I commented and I didn't think to mention it.

    1. It's totally green. My old camera just refuse to cooperate! Lol!
Sorry it made you do the captcha before, I really had no idea it was on! And if you have any feedback/critique on my blog, feel free to jump in as well :)
