Happy Friday! Today I have swatches of yet another Enchanted Polish that recently joined my stash. I'm showing you 2 out of the 3 polishes I got on the last restock. Don't ask how I managed to score all 3, I was just lucky being there at the right time! Haha.
More pics after the jump..
First, I have for you the exclusive La La Land. Though the exclusivity is that this is the first (and only?) bottle released in a turquoise box, instead of the regular white or black box for mystery monthly polish. That's all. I have no idea what's the story behind the box. It's a beautiful dusty blue holo with pink shimmer peeking from some angle. My pics are showing it a tad brighter which kinda hide the dusty feel in it. The formula is thick but doesn't affect application, though I'm thinking in the long run you'll definitely need some thinner for this. I wear this two cats with top coat.
Next I have 2 A.M. Summer Night. I'm a bit disappointed at this. Don't get me wrong, it is still a pretty shade, but the colour-shifting quality is nowhere near as great as those from Imagine collection (such as Magical Mystery Tour). Formula and application was great, but my application is a little sloppy here. I used 2 coats and top coat.
If you don't already know, there will be a pre-order of monthly mystery shades this Sunday, October 12 starts at 12 pm(noon) PST and ends in an hour. You can subscribe to their newsletter for restock information in this link.

I think these are both very pretty. I am just afraid to start buying any more Enchanteds than the one I have lol
ReplyDeleteIt's a rabbit hole! Stay away! lol
Delete2 am Summer Night is pretty, but honestly, I haven't had good luck with EP yet - out of three I've bought, I ended up selling two because I didn't like them very much on me. :(
ReplyDeleteSame, my motto with EP is buy now decide later, haha
DeleteBummer that the second one was a bit disappointing, they both look really pretty on you!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's pretty, but not as amazing as I thought it would be.
DeleteWhy didn't you like 2 A.M. Summer Night? I think it looks pretty!
ReplyDeleteI do like it, but not as much as I thought I would. It's one of those polishes that look prettier in pics..haha
DeleteColor shifts are always super hard to judge until you get them. It's a bummer that it's not a winner especially being an EP.
ReplyDeleteThat's true! 2 AM looked amazing in the bottle,
DeleteI think I love the first one best! Great swatches!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! It is a beautiful shade :)
DeleteThey both look great on you! But I think I like La La Land best - shame about the color shift on the other!
ReplyDelete2 am summer night is gorgeous
ReplyDeleteFlippin' gorgeous, both of them! The blue one is so happy pretty blue and the second is just super chic! Love them.
ReplyDeleteI really love La La Land! Great swatches!
