Born Pretty Store Stamping Plate Review - Snoopy Nail Art

Happy Friday! Today I have another Born Pretty Store product review with a nail art to go with it. The images on the plate are all so adorable! But I'm biased, cause I love Snoopy. I have tried almost all of them, and they picked up really nicely using my konad hard stamper.

The background for my stamping is a gradient using piCture pOlish Sky, OPI Rumple's Wiggin, and Orly Snowcone. The dots on my thumb, index, and pinkie are OPI Sparrow Me The DramaI made snoopy decals using Mundo de Unas Black and filled them with Cirque Carpe Diem. The hearts are stamped with Mundo de Unas Mexican Pink.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find this plate on their site anymore to link it for you, but they have a great selection of stamping plates to choose from, all with affordable prices! You can check out their plates selection here. You can also get 10% off your purchase for regular priced items using my code NVG10.

Do you love Snoopy? I think I'll be keeping this mani for the weekend :)

Orly Glowstick (And Some Nail Art)

Hi guys!

Summer doesn't feel complete without some in-your-face neon nails, and I have just the perfect polish for it! Orly Glowstick. What an appropriate name for this polish!

As most of neon polish does, this tend to be a bit streaky to wear on its own, and I just don't feel like dealing with streaky polish. So I layered it over white polish. I used 2 thin coats and it looks perfect! Well, aside for the rubbery finish, but that an easy fix, apply top coat, and voila! I have a glossy neon mani.

As expected, my camera freaked out a bit. It's a bit more brighter in person, and the yellow is like highlighter yellow to me.

And then (of course) I added a little bit of nail art. I used Bundle monster BM-319 from 2012  collection set, and stamped with Zoya Hazel. I think of it like a filter for the brightness, although it doesn't really help much, but that's a good thing I guess :p

All my polishes and stamping plate I used here were purchased from Nail Polish Canada. They are currently offering free shipping with no minimum to anywhere in Canada. Go check them out! :)
What do you think of the stamping combo I used? The design looks subtle, but I personally love it!

Sparkling Chevron Mani

Hello :)

I posted on my facebook yesterday that I couldn't do Watermarble Wednesday, cause I'm away from home, and I only bring a few polishes with me. I put on China Glaze Aquadelic last night and thought I'm gonna do a chevron mani with some of the polishes I have with me.

Polishes used here are China Glaze Aquadelic, a bright aqua blue creme, great formula, opaque in 2 coats and has a good shine finish. The first chevron layer is OPI Ski Teal We Drop, this is one of my first OPI. It is an awesome dark teal, great formula, almost a one coater, which means it's also good for stamping, another plus for me ;). And lastly, the glitter.. can you guess? I've given a clue on the post title. It's Orly Sparkling Garbage! I love the polish as much as I love the name, I think it's funny, lol. I don't think my pics give this glitter enough justice, it's SO sparkly and beautiful in person.

I hope you enjoyed this post. I won't be doing much nail art until next week, but I have some polishes I want to show you, they're pretty special. Stay tuned ;)
