Enchanted Polish Majestic & Pueen 76

Hi everyone! Today I got my new set of Pueen Leisure plates in the mail. I was excited to try this set, it has quite a few plates that I want to use, so of course for today's mani I'm using one of the plate from this set.
My base is Enchanted Polish Majestic. I'm pairing this beautiful soft shade with a blue gradient delicate image from Pueen 76. I used Mundo de Unas #5, 6, and 30 for the gradient. I sealed the design with one coat of HK Girl top coat.

For once I remember to snap a few shots of Majestic on its own before I covered it up with stamping. It's not a super strong holo, but I really like it. The base colour is a grey-ish lilac with a pink sheen that I couldn't really show in pics, it's really beautiful in person. I used 2 coats for pics below.

Enchanted Friday: La La Land & 2 A.M. Summer NightEP 2 A.M. Summer Night

Happy Friday! Today I have swatches of yet another Enchanted Polish that recently joined my stash. I'm showing you 2 out of the 3 polishes I got on the last restock. Don't ask how I managed to score all 3, I was just lucky being there at the right time! Haha.

Enchanted Polish Hot Chocolate For Unicorns - Swatches & Stamping

Happy Monday! My mani today is one of the new Enchanted Polish that I was lucky enough to grab during the restock three weeks ago. I wasn't sure if it's going to look ok on me, I don't wear brown shades much if you noticed, but I think this is one of the browns that I can and will happily wear.
Hot Chocolate for Unicorns (what a cute name!) is a creamy holographic deep brown, that resembles the name, a hot chocolate, except that you won't find any sparkles in your cup :p. The holo is not the in-your-face kind but it's definitely there. I have no issues with formula, it applied well and opaque in 2 coats. The swatches below are 2 coats with top coat.

I have been planning to pair this with a pink since before I got this, I love brown+pink combo! Though what I did here makes the pink take over the spotlight in this mani, but I still like it. I used the image from Pueen 37 (Love Element set) and stamp it with Mundo de Unas Mexican Pink. I also use one coat of EP Djinn in a Bottle before the final top coat.

Proud Beauty Bloggers of Colors with Green

Hi everyone! It's time again for another collaborative post by Proud Beauty Bloggers of Colors, and our theme this time is 'Green'. I had a mani planned for this, but suddenly I just blanked out. Has that ever happened to you? So I just pulled 2 greens from my untried list to use. In my head they looked so much better, lol.

Enchanted Polish All Love Garden and Illamasqua Destiny are my picks for the green theme. I definitely need to use Destiny again on its own, it's so gorgeous!

Go ahead and check out more green manicures by the awesome ladies from the link-up below!

NOTD: Head Over Heels-To Die For-Seven Nation Army

Hi everyone! A quick post today with my NOTD look. Well, I actually have this on since yesterday, and possibly will be taking it off later today. But I'm sharing the sparkles anyway!
The base is from my untried stash, Emily de Molly Head over Heels. Layered with 2 of my favourite glitter topper, Enchanted Polish To DIe For and Seven Nation Army. This combo is crazy sparkly, way more than what I can capture in pics. Between the holo from SNA base and the super sparkly glitter in To Die For, it can be quite distracting. I think this might look even more amazing over a dark base. I used 1 coat of each glitter over 3 thin coats of Head over Heels, plus 1 coat of HK Girl top coat.

NOTD: Enchanted Polish March 2014

Happy Sunday! Hope everyone is having a wonderful and relaxing weekend :)
Just a quick post here to share this mani I did yesterday. I'm still wearing it today, so it counts as a NOTD post, right?

March 2014 is a light green linear holo with a strong gold holo effect that makes it look more chartreuse under the sun. I used 3 thin coats here with HK Girl top coat.
The neon green glitter you see on my tips was made by a good friend of mine who also makes handmade, custom blended hand and body products, Les Creations Maja. You can check out her products here. She creates polishes as a hobby, and I'm lucky enough to get to try them.

I think these polishes look so good together! If you're following me on Instagram, I posted a pic I took with my phone yesterday when I was out in the sun. The holo looks amazing, and the glitter really pop! Love them! <3

Enchanted Polish April 2014 & Freeze Machine

Happy hump day! Yesterday I (finally) received my 2 Enchanted Polish monthly from the last pre order. I immediately fell in love with April and just had to swatch it, which turn into a full hand mani. April 2014 is a soft periwinkle blue with some lavender undertone, the holographic effect is subtle but it's there. The formula is a little on the thick side, but still manageable. I used 2 coats here, although 1 thicker coat would've been enough for my shorties.

Then I decided to layer it with Freeze Machine. I have a love/hate feelings toward this glitter. I absolutely love the glitter combo, but I hate how thick it is! Thinner doesn't seem to fix the consistency. I only used it once last year, and it already has a very significant fill line.

Swatches: Enchanted Polish January 2014

Happy Friday! Not too long ago, I posted swatches of the entire 2013 Enchanted Polish monthly polishes. For 2014, Chelsea, the brain behind the brand, decided to make all the monthly polishes as mystery. On the bright side, she has been doing pre-order to make it easier to get the polishes, no cart jacking, in and out no hassle.

So, here's January 2014. It's a deep blue linear holo with a subtle green shimmer, almost black in low light. The linear holo effect is strong, and great opaque formula. Nearly a one coater, but I used 2 coats here without top coat.

The next pre-order for March and April 2014 will be this Sunday (March 23rd, 2014) 12pm PST and going to last for an hour. Set your alarm! ;)

Pueen 73

Hi lovelies!

Happy Monday! Today's post is a simple stamping to extend my mani from my previous post. After swatching all my monthlies EP, I decided to do a full mani with December 2013. I also have been itching to try my new Pueen plates, I bought the buffet set as soon as Nail Polish Canada has them.
With a neutral shade as my base, I wanted to do a delicate stamping, and this set as a few plates to choose from, and I went with plate 73 and used Enchanted Polish Holiday 2013 as the stamping polish. I was happy to see that the details picked up quite nicely, even though I didn't use a special stamping polish.

If you're new in using a full image plate like this, there's a trick to get rid of the unwanted design you get on your stamper. I've tried 2 ways;
First is to remove the unwanted part on the stamper using a q-tip dipped in remover. But I find this only works when you're using stamping polish, or a thick goopy polish that doesn't dry too fast.
Another way, is to stamp the whole thing on your nail, and use scotch tape to pick up the unwanted part from your nail. Your base polish has to be completely dry to do this. You can also use this trick if you made a mistake and want to redo the stamp.

This set is currently out of stock in Nail Polish Canada, but they are also selling the plate individually, which is great if you only want to get a couple that you like. Also check out Harlow & Co. (ships worldwide), Amazon and Pueen on bigcartel for availability.

Enchanted Polish 2013 Monthlies

Hi guys!

So today's (tonight) post is the one that I've been meaning to do for a while, or since I've received my December 2013. I've had most of them for months and haven't tried any of them (but April), I was pretty excited swatching these.
For you who's not familiar with it, Enchanted Polish released a monthly polish, current month shade usually released by the end of the month or the following. This year's monthly theme is a mystery, you won't know what the shade is until you get it, on a bright side, she has been doing pre-order for them, no more crazy restock!

Anyway, let's move on to the pics. All of the swatches but April are 2 coats no top coat, I used 3 coats for April, no top coat. Wish I could get sunlight pics with these, but I can't wait until summer to post these, so artificial light will have to do.

The obvious favorite out of all is May, how could you not love that bright magenta?! My surprise favorites are February, July, and December. The only one that doesn't agree with my skin tone is June, it looks lighter on the nail than on the bottle.
Hope you enjoyed the post! Which one(s) is your favorite?

Swatches: Enchanted Polish Mercy

Hi guys!

Happy hump day! Today I have an absolute gorgeous polish (but unfortunately not mine) to share with you. I picked this up for a friend, along with other polishes for myself on the last Enchanted restock. She's kind enough to let me try it, and I kind of regret that I did, cause now I really want it!

Enchanted Polish Mercy
Isn't it gorgeous?? It's a dusty medium purple shade. The holo isn't the strongest, but it's ok for me. I swear I saw a slight shimmer in a low lightning. I was completely swoon over this! I love my purples. This is two thin coats with HK girl top coat. Great opacity and formula.

Swatches: Enchanted Polish Autumn

Hi guys!

Crossing one more from my untried stash, I have Enchanted Polish Autumn to show you today. Autumn is a bronze shade that shifts to gold in a bright light, with holographic effect. The formula is so perfect! Smooth and easy to apply. My swatches here are with 2 coats, no top coat. All pictures were taken in a light box.
