OPI Miss Universe 2013 Nail Art

Hi guys!

I want to share this simple nail art I just did with all three OPI Miss Universe shades. I love how these colors go so well together! You can check out swatches for all individual shades here.

I painted all my nails with I'm Feeling Sashy as the base color, then free handed the half moon using  Miss You-niverse. The rest was done with 2 sizes of dotting tools using all three shades. I finished off the design with a shiny top coat, HK Girl from Glisten & Glow.

Swatches: CbL Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star

Today I have the newest shade from Colors by Llarowe, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. I purchased this on the last restock, where it's first launched. This polish was created purposely to fulfill a lot of nail polish lovers lemming of Essie Starry Starry Night. I don't own any Essie polishes, and didn't really pay attention to this polish, but I know it's on many people's wish list, and it's selling pretty high on ebay. I google swatches of Starry Starry Night, and I think this is pretty much an exact dupe with affordable price. 

Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star is a navy jelly with a ton of silver sparkles. Even though the base is jelly, it is very pigmented. I got good opacity with only 2 coats, but if you have longer nails you'll probably need 3 coats. A shiny top coat really brings out the sparkles, I use HK Girl top coat.

Watermarble Wednesday.. Resumed!

Hey! It's me.. again!

Watermarble Wednesday has been on paused for 9-10 weeks due to my piCture pOlish review that's scheduled every Wednesday. But, it's back now! Felt like I haven't done this in forever.. That feeling you get when the first polish combo you chose worked out well.. oh yeah!! Lol!

Comparison: OPI I'm Feeling Sashy vs Parlez-Vouz OPI?

As promised, here's a quick comparison between OPI I'm Feeling Sashy from 2013 Miss Universe collection and Parlez-Vouz OPI? a recently discontinued shade.

Both are with 2 coats and top coat. Clearly they are not dupes, but I just had to compare them side by side to satisfy my curiosity.

Swatches: OPI Miss Universe 2013 Collection

I've been meaning to have this post up yesterday, but got caught up with something else and forgot to do it.. oops! I finally got my hands on the new Miss Universe collection. I was not very impressed with the first MU collection, but I have to say, I love this one! The collection consists of 3 polishes, 2 cremes and a satin finish. I knew I'm going to love the cremes since the I saw the them, but the silver satin finish turned out to be a surprise favorite for me! 

Lets start with the cremes!

Miss You-niverse, a dark plum that looks almost black in low lightning. It looks darker on the nails than on the bottle. Great formula, used two coats and top coat.

I'm Feeling Sashy, a dusty medium purple with pink tone in it. Also easy to work with, I used two coats here with top coat. At first glance, this reminds me of Parlez-vouz OPI?. I happen to have it, and will post a comparison after this.

This Gown Needs A Crown, a metallic silver with satin finish, it is meant to be worn without a top coat. Again, great formula! Although 2 coats would've been enough, I used 3 thin coats for good measure. No top coat. Love the crown charm that comes with the bottle!
