Glittered Sniffany

Hi guys!!

Today I'm wearing a simple mani, started with just a plain cream, Sniffany from I Love Nail Polish. It's a beautiful classic tiffany color. The formula is pretty good, a bit streaky at  first coat but even out completely on the second coat.
Then I looked at my little stash of glequins that I've never touched. I got them from a night market months ago. So I decided to practice on my glitter placement. Be kind, ok? ;). It's a bit tricky to plan ahead if the design I wanted to make would fit in all nails, or how to tweak them so they still look close enough.

I only used one thick coat of top coat here. They would need 2 cot to get a really smooth surface, but I'm almost on my last drops of HK Girl top coat and won't get the new bottle until tomorrow. So this will have to do! Also, I really need better lightning when doing my nails! I always notice the parts that needed more clean up when I was editing the photos (argh!).
Hope you have a good Monday!

Different DImension: Today Was A Fairytale

Hi guys!

I had a relaxing day today. Wasn't planning to do my nails today until I finished watching Princess Diary 1 & 2 ( I love Anne Hathaway). It turned me into a fairy tale, princesses, and everything girly kinda mood lol. It was already late, so I wasn't gonna do any nail art that's going to take hours to finish. Then I found this polish in my untried stash, not only it has the absolute perfect name for what I was looking for, the color is just so pretty in a very girly way.

Today Was A Fairytale, a sheer white milky base with pink shimmer, it's filled with silver, pink, and fuchsia holographic circle glitter and small holographic squares and dots. I wear this with 3 thin coats, some VNL was showing, which got me a bit creative, since I wasn't sure if the 4th coat would makes it totally opaque. I painted a border on each nails with China Glaze Pinkie Promise. LOVE it! Next time I'd probably layer it over a light pink, nude, or white.

Mix 'n Match: Whimsy, SIren Song, & Imperial

Hi guys!

Today I'm playing with some of my most loved piCture pOlish shade, Whimsy, Siren Song, and Imperial. I wanted to do some sort of skittle or mix 'n match mani with them, but I'm drawing blank on what to do.
I finally started with a gradient using Whimsy and Siren Song. Just looking at the two, I knew they would make a gorgeous gradient. I was right. The only downside, the silver flakes/glitter were a pain to clean up, lol. I thought I got them all, but while editing the pics, I can see some still stuck around my nails (sorry about that!). I used striping tape and Imperial over the gradient to create the 2 accent nails.

Swatches: Colors by Llarowe That's A Fact, Jack!

Hiya!

Since tomorrow is the restock day for Colors by Llarowe, thought I'd share this swatches of That's A Fact, Jack! This is one of the shade that will make its last appearance tomorrow, so you might want to grab it, if you like it.
Looking from the bottle, honestly I thought I wouldn't like this one on me. Khaki is just too murky for my skin tone. But there's that pink flash that got me curious, and thinking I need to try it before hating it :p Sure enough I was wrong. After trying it, I changed my mind and think this is an interesting shade. I absolutely love the pink shimmer/flashes I see on this, although it was hard to capture with my camera. The formula is also good, not too thick, not too thin. I used 2 easy coats here and 1 coat of HK Girl top coat.
