Swatches & Review: Rainbow Honey Nail Lacquer

Hi guys!!

Today I have several new pretty from a new-to-me indie brand Rainbow Honey. I have heard of the brand from a while, just haven't had a chance to try any of them. Recently, one of my favorite online shop, Nail Polish Canada, started carrying Rainbow Honey and asked if I would be interested in reviewing some of the polishes from this line. Well, you know my answer ;)

I have a lot of pics to show you, but here's a little preview. More after the jump!

All swatches here are using Glisten & Glow STuck on Blue base coat and HK Girl top coat.

Apple Kid, A bright rosy fuchsia that looks almost neon, with tons of shimmer. Formula is great, I had no issue with application. This looks brighter in person. Shown 2 coats.

Fire Spring, a coppery bright orange with shimmer and small orange hexes. The formula is on a thick side, but still give good coverage in 3 thin coats.

Lumine Hall, a deep indigo jelly with tons of shimmer, dark blue and light purple iridescent glitter. The formula is also on a thick side, but not as thick as Fire Spring. I find sometimes the glitter clumps up, but it can be fixed easily with a toothpick. Shown 3 thin coats.

Tidal Wave, a teal aqua jelly based with shimmers, teal & silver holographic hexes, small holographic glitter, which make this so sparkly and gorgeous! I had no issues with application. Shown 3 thin coats.

I Miss You, a cute name for a cute glitter topper! it's filled with various shapes pastel glitter. Heart, butterfly, squares and hexes. Here I layered it over Lumine Hall. I did have to 'fish' out the hearts and butterflies, but it's not really that hard, and it's worth the trouble!

My verdict, it's a brand worth trying. My favorite from all 5 is Tidal Wave, love the color and sparkle! My least favorite is Fire Spring, only because the color doesn't suit my skin tone. Canadian polish lover now have easy access of these polishes from Nail Polish Canada, and they ship free anywhere in Canada. You can also check out all Rainbow Honey collection here.
