Today I have another piCture pOlish shade to share with you, Metallic Mush. This is also a two-bird-one-stone kind of post, because I did today's challenge, polka dots, with the shade I'm reviewing now :D
Metallic Mush is a light tan, sort of champagne shade with foil look finish. With this type of finish, I expected the formula to be thick and very brush stroke-y. To my surprise, it was actually very easy to apply. Thick, yes. But very manageable. I did 2 effortless coats for my swatches here, with top coat. All photos were taken in a light box.
And now onto my challenge mani!
Using Metallic Mush and Whimsy, I made the polka dots over a black base. For my accent nails, the dots are Whimsy, and I used the end of a straw and Metallic Mush to make the circles over the dots. I quite like how they turned out! :D

Really fun dots - hard to come up with anything too original with dots but you managed to do just that! Bravo!ReplyDelete
Thank you! Can't take the credit for straw idea, a friend suggested it! :)Delete
